We are proud to announce that Ada Lovelace CofE High School has been selected as a lead language hub by the National Consortium for Languages Education (NCLE). The NCLE is funded by the Department for Education and delivered by the Institute of Education at University College London.
This is a unique and exciting programme and as one of only 15 hubs in the country, the school joins a select network supporting high quality language education in England. Further information can be found in the announcement by the Department for Education.
Having been recognised by the NCLE for the quality of our language teaching, we will deliver training to a small number of partner schools to share best practice, discuss ideas and support quality language learning activities.
The language hub will be based at Ada Lovelace CofE High School, where German is the first modern foreign language, but will draw on the strength and depth of language teaching expertise from across the Twyford CofE Academies Trust.
Wir freuen uns sehr darüber!
