Affiliate school Twyford CofE High School Year 12 students enjoyed success in their German Olympiad entries this year.

Marcus, Gabriel and Shion won the Olympiad group submission and Shion also received runner-up for the individual category.

Group submission: the group presented a proposal for a game show in German including details such as its rules, rounds and prizes. They put emphasis on German culture such as by getting competitors to represent their federal state and offering Donner Kebab as the prize!

Individual submission: Shion wrote a piece from the perspective of the Violin of Shoah, which was played at the Auschwitz orchestra. Throughout their work, they focused on how hope can still persist in times of great despair.

Congratulations to all involved.
